'My One And Only Thrill' Goes Gold in the UK – Tuesday 11 August 2009

Melody Gardot’s second studio album, ‘My One And Only Thrill’, has this month officially gone Gold in the UK.

The album has now reached #4 in the album charts in France (where it has also recently achieved Gold status), as well as being #3 in the Jazz charts in both the US and Canada. In fact, combined with sales of her first record, ‘Worrisome Heart’, Melody was the best-selling artist last month in France behind Michael Jackson. A truly impressive achievement.

Melody’s next promotional trip takes her to Australia later this month with showcases planned in Sydney and Melbourne, before she jets off to Japan for the Tokyo Jazz Festival.
